From chemical plants and refineries to paper and pulp facilities, industrial processing demands valves that withstand extreme pressures, temperatures, and corrosive conditions. Reliable valves in these environments play a key role in production uptime, safety, and long-term financial stability.

KITZ Corp. of America’s Industrial Division specializes in high-quality valve solutions for demanding industrial applications. As a leading industrial valve manufacturer, we supply robust valves that perform reliably in highly corrosive environments.

Our Industrial Valve Portfolio

KITZ offers a broad selection of valves in standard carbon and stainless steel materials as well as specialty alloys. Our industrial valves include:

  • Multi-turn valves. Gate valves, globe valves, and check valves to prevent backflow in critical systems.

  • High-alloy specialty valves. Exotic material grades, including Hastelloy, Monel, Duplex, and Inconel.
  • Valve accessories. Products include gear operators, dead man handles, and chain wheels. Looking for something else? Contact Us

Industries & Applications

Our Industrial Division supports industrial processing where harsh conditions define daily operations:

  • Energy & refining. We supply refining valves for upstream, midstream, and downstream processes. Our oil and gas valves include gate, globe, and check valves, all of which meet ASTM material and API design requirements.

  • Chemical processing. Chemical industry valves resist aggressive acids and solvents. Ideal for fine chemical and petrochemical processing, our valves are constructed from materials designed for chemical compatibility, including stainless steel and exotic alloys.
  • Chemical wastewater treatment. Our valve products manage corrosive waste streams without degradation.
  • Mining. KITZ severe service valves control the flow of abrasive slurries and gases in harsh, high-pressure applications.
  • Power generation. KITZ valves perform under sustained high-pressure operation in conventional power and renewable energy plants.
  • Pulp & paper. Our valves manage the flow of chemicals, fibrous stock, water, and steam for critical processing applications in this industry.

Industrial valves must be able to withstand extreme temperatures, high pressures, and corrosive materials. Our carbon steel, stainless steel, and specialty alloy valves are designed to handle materials such as acids, chemicals, and solvents.

The KITZ Advantage

Consistently ranked among the world’s top 5 largest valve manufacturers, KITZ is trusted globally by leaders across diverse industries. KITZ is on the Approved Manufacturer Lists (AMLs) of nearly every major refinery and chemical manufacturer in the world. This status means we are a preferred, pre-approved supplier. For distributors and procurement teams, choosing a trusted AML manufacturer simplifies the specification process.

Tight Quality Control

Unlike many competitors who outsource components, we have integrated manufacturing, including castings, machining, assembly, and testing, and maintain complete oversight of every production stage. Our Industrial Division performs 100% API 598 pressure and bubble-tight testing on every unit before it leaves the facility. If a valve fails our internal test, we melt it down and restart the process. This strict quality control process means our valves exhibit lower torque and accurate, repeatable tolerances.

In 1986, KITZ was one of the first valve companies in the world to earn ISO 9001 certification. Furthermore, all our products carry the CE mark to ensure compliance with European safety regulations. As the industry shifts toward “good enough” quality due to increasing cost sensitivity, KITZ maintains the same elite manufacturing standards to produce high-performing industrial valves.

Our unique “killed steel” casting process uses high-grade ore, refined high-grade scrap, and specialized heat treatments to produce fully deoxidized steel castings with minimal gas porosity. Using advanced casting simulations and slag refining process furnaces, we know exactly how much of the deoxidizing element to use and when to add it to produce the highest-quality valves.

Broad Range of Specialty Alloys

While many of our competitors stop at stainless steel, we work with a wide range of specialty alloys, performing small-batch custom metal pours and controlling specific metallurgical recipes as needed. If customers provide detailed specifications for their specialized application, our team can recommend the best alloys for those process conditions.

Global Engineering Capabilities

As a leading global valve manufacturer, KITZ maintains engineering and sales offices around the world to support our production facilities in Asia and Europe. We continually expand our product lines through in-house design in collaboration with global partners. At KITZ Corp. of America, our engineers offer on-site technical consultations, email support, application engineering guidance, and product development to support your unique industrial project.

From our facility in Houston, Texas, we offer on-site valve engineering services, which include specialty cleaning and modifications using original parts. Each modification includes documentation, inspection reports, and material test reports (MTRs). All valve engineering services carry a one-year warranty with full traceability. Examples of modifications we do include:

  • Special cleaning. Our two-step cleaning process consists of hot parts pre-washing and ultrasonic machine cleaning. This standardized process produces higher-quality results and greater consistency than manual cleaning.
  • Trim and bolt changes. Our team can replace standard valve materials with more corrosion-resistant components for demanding industrial applications that require greater corrosion resistance or strength.
  • Extensions. Valve extensions improve access in tight piping configurations.

Our extensive engineering capabilities produce valves specialized for severe service, common in industrial processing.

Pioneer in Fugitive Emissions Control & Sustainability

Every KITZ industrial valve is low-emission. In fact, we pioneered emissions reduction long before ISO or the EPA established formal mandates. We were one of the first valve companies to address fugitive emissions, well before the EPA’s 206 VOC list was released, and our emissions were lower than California emissions standards when they first came out.

Customer Service Mindset, Fast Response, & On-Time Delivery

As a deeply customer-oriented company, we respond rapidly to technical inquiries. KITZ consistently meets delivery promises, contributing to our strong distributor relationships that date back to the 1980s. Many KITZ refining valves and oil and gas valves installed four decades ago remain in active service today.
